2006 Z06 Performance Review Updated

The 2006 Z06 performance review that we put together last year was a big hit among enthusiasts. We not only summarized the test results of the Z06 as published in the various automotive magazines out there, but we also averaged them, and then compared them to the competition.

We just finished updating this page with new test results acquired from Car and Driver and Road Track. The 2006 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo was also included in the competition. Check out the results here:

Both test Z06s, however, achieved the same 25-mph quarter-mile trap speed

Just letting you know there is a typo in the Car and Driver quote. This should read "same 125-mph...".

Great collection of data. I just picked up the Sept 06 R&T for this comparison. While R&T tends to have slower times it was great to see the Z06 go head to head with this list of cars. Great performer, great price.
