2008 corvette ticking

My 2008 makes a ticking noise right before I start it. Is this normal?

Are you talking about the rapid series of clicks that happens when you push the start button? I'm pretty sure that is normal. All 2 of the C6's I have driven (including mine) does the same thing.

that's just the car lighting the fuse for takeoff actually, no issue as its just the various systems coming alive once you push the start button. they all do it!
