What do any of you folks think about buying a used 2008 Saturn Aura, V6 all of the standard options and it's in great shape at 38K miles. Do you think since GM stopped building Saturns what would be any trouble in future repairs and the avalible parts ? They want $13.500 for it. Comes with a one year warranty ? What do you think ? Thank you !:confused

How do you know it's in "good shape"? Is that what the dealer tells you or have you personally checked the car out--including having it up on a rack to inspect the chassis and suspension?

Also the one-year warranty...have you read the warranty? Often, used car warranties can be limited and restrictive.

I don't follow used car prices, but that asking price ought to be really low because of the risk you take in buying a three-year old car made by a brand which no longer exists.

You can bet that parts are going to be an issue. In fact, with some of the parts unique to a Saturn (ie: body parts, trim, etc) there may already be issues with discontinued pieces.
