Question: 2010 Paint Options

Does anyone know why Atomic Orange was dropped from the paint option list?

Clearly it accounted for a decent build percentage.

Corvettes (past & present) body designs always lent well to high visibility colors, especially for being the #1 sports car in America!

I've always liked Dodge, Chrysler, and Plymouths bold colors of the 70's - why does Chevy have to be so bland!

I had hopes of a 2010 Grand Sport but the available colors really don't excite me to want to fork over 50+k.

Since the corvette is such a limited build number, why can't there be more available color options that we can order.

Just a passing thought.............

If you check the build numbers you will find AO is probably the least % of builds. I was going to get a 2010 but when I found out AO was discontinued I did a nation wide search and found my car 1,300 miles away. Picked it up 5/12. Well worth the trip for a new 09 AO coupe optioned the way I wanted.

If you look at the Production Numbers for 2009 Corvettes from the CAC's Model Center, Atomic Orange accounted for 4.3% of all Corvettes made in that model year. It apparently wasn't that popular.

I don't care what the % is,,, it's 100% for me. I just found mine in Las Vegas and finally its home. I've added it to the stable of c-3, c-5.

I know material space at BGA is limited and as more Corvette types and options are added that space is squeezed even more.
