Question: Anyone experiencing eight speed transmission over heating trouble in hot humid states in every day driving.

:thanks:

My guess is you're not going to get a very useful answer considering how few '15s with the 8-spd are on the road so far.

What leads you to believe there is a problem with transmission temperatures?

Picked up my car on Monday. Drove it around Toledo Ohio for four days and had no over heat problem.
Drove from Toledo to Chapel Hill NC on Friday - about 800 miles - no problems with the 8 speed auto. Non Z51. :w

Heard the Z06 Convertible is being held back because of over heating problems with the automatic transmission. The convertible doesn't cool like the coupe.
Chevrolet Corvette Chassis Engineers are evaluating larger transmission heat exchangers and fans to improve transmission cooling on the track.
Assumed if the Z06 automatic transmission is over heating on the track, how is the Z51 and base car with automatic trans doing on the road in hot humid states.
I'm tired of these recalls on these expensive Corvette's

I'm glad you are not having problem.
Enjoy your Corvette the car looks great.
I'm on my sixth Corvette.
Hope to have one more Corvette in my life, a red on red Z51&3LT (1YX07) Not sure if the transmission will be M5U or MEL. The MEL is standard no cost with Z51.
