My 2015 coupe is making a popping and cracking sound overhead when the roof is installed. It seems to get worse as the ambient temp. raises. I have removed the roof and it goes away. I have used silicone grease to lube all obvious areas to no avail. Anyone else experiencing this? Since my original posting of this problem I have run across information that C6's also had this problem and GM issued a fix bulletin (injecting a foam substance into the roof) and if this didn't work, they replaced the roof. Can I be the only one out there with this problem??
Car has been to the dealer and is now fixed. Inserted or replaced shims in the latches which reduced tension.
