3 Speed Manual Trans in 1969?

Was a 3 speed manual offered on a 1969 Corvette? I have found RPO codes for several 4 speeds but nothing for a 3 speed. Anyone have a Black Book handy?

Yes, a three-speed manual transmission was part of the base package, along with the 350ci/300hp engine.

How many were sold that way is another story, to which I have no answer.

Three speed automatic I believe. I think all the manual transmissions were four-speeds.

I guess I am mistaken. I wouldn't believe it. Why would anyone want a three speed manual?
