Hello everyone!

I finally fixed my Bud Rob's 85 c4 code 32 egr problem!!!

As i mentioned in the last post, the code 32 would only activate when the car had been driven on the hi way at a steady speed for about 20 miles. It did not activate during city driving.

After checking and replacing almost everything.....!!!!!! and still having the problem, I replaced the 195 thermostat with a 180 one.

Everything works fine now!!!!

Rob gave me some beers too !!!!!

Interesting solution

Interesting.

My 90 Vette gets the code only after it has been on the road for a while, never in city driving, and rarely at all.

Reason....it has no EGR at all! I have not had the computer reprogrammed, so it still looks for it from time to time.

What is interesting though, is it did it once in a while when it still had the stock motor and a new EGR valve???? Weird..huh?

Glad you fixed it.

I would be curous to see however it it won't still trigger after it warms up more and goes more miles.

EGR doesnt kick in until temperatures of the engine rise above 178F i believe.

Its not a solution, but a fix nonetheless.
