I'm thinking about doing one or the other in the near future to pull it and rebuild it or replace it with a crate motor. The motor is currently in a 66 and I was wondering is there any market for someone needing a block of this nature. Or should I just sit it in the corner as a huge paper weight if I put in a crate motor... Dave..

If I remember correct it's a June 62 casting date as for the HP who knows it's been restamped by someone before me to reflect this vette's VIN. I don't understand it but that's what they did.. Needless to say I think that I'm going to put a ZZ4 in it and forget about it... Dave...

All Depends.

As for the HP, the blocks are all the same. It's the heads, cam, pistons etc. that made up the different HP.

That's what I thought but I was unsure as due to the codes on the block I wasn't sure. So needless to say the block is a June 62 casting the heads are January and May 65 350hp heads. I have no clue as to what they are worth but I plan on buying a long block ZZ4 so everything will go from the Carb to the Oil pan. I just think the big thing now is more than selling it but to help determine the value and consider the fact that everything is in running order but would need a rebuilt. ie why I will be using a ZZ4. As always thanks guys.. Dave..
