Does anyone know the whereabouts of the 7 35th Anniversary B2k Corvettes?

Does anyone know the whereabouts of the 7 35th Anniversary B2k Corvettes?

They are scattered about the United States - from California, to Louisiana, to Illinois, Michigan, Arkansas, and some places in between...

One was destroyed or the seven, the one in Michigan is currently for sale and has been discussed here before, as a few of us have seen it in real life.

The 35th Anniversary B2K appears to be in a status of a couple of notches higher than the 40th Anniversary ZR1.

Continuing to do research for a B2K purchace upon my return from Iraq, I find the possiability of a 35th Anniversary B2k exciting - sort of a two for one deal. However, my greatest concern is the collectivity/scaricity factor over the daily driver.

Can the 35th have an aero body and still be a 35th Anniversary B2K? Doesn't the 35th option come in coupe only?

I would not drive a '53 daily. Would I drive a 35th B2K daily? Any 35th Anniversary B2K daily drivers out there - what are your opinions?

As beautiful (and "rare") as it is, would it really be worth the challenge and cost to find and purchase it without driving it every day I can?

I would think very carefully about a 35th car as a driver. They have great eye appeal but! are very difficult to maintain in showroom condition with all the white interior components. Over the years have noticed that they can be very prone to yellowing and show wear very easily. Just MHO. from watching closely at shows. The 35th B2K in the Bloomington Gold special collection 2004 is the finest example I have ever seen of one of these cars kept in showroom new condition. Enjoy your search.

The 35th is a coupe only option.
I would never consider the Aerobody on a 35th. Not that it wouldn't look good.

35th would not make a good daily driver. The white wheels would be black most of the time.

Contrary to popular belief, the white paint on the 35th tends to yellow if left indoors all the time. I have to park mine out in the sun every now and then to lighten it up.

While that car is indeed a VERY, VERY nice one, Mike Yager's 1988 B2K 35th car that JUST turned 300 miles is the best out there :eek

Last spring, it had 280 miles - those are delivery miles (plus a few )

Oh!! I forgot about Mike's 35th B2-K, Probably because I have'nt seen that one in person. Looked really good in the magazine! Should know by now Chris will help keep the details straight!!

That 1988 B2K 35th in Michigan would have been a good deal at 17 or 18 k


It didn't sit right, as it had been hit before - Now that one WOULD be o.k. as a driver

I see that 35th B-2K out cruising occassionally. I can't remember bids at Bloomington Gold I believe in the mid to high twentys. Car would need to be redone to be nice, but might make a driver with future or ongoing restoration plans. Owner is not motivated to deal on car!! I think he's hoping for a uneducated buyer. I could not get interested in car would much rather have Surf's car than that one. Oh! I guess temporarily I'm done looking Well almost done!! hoping to see 89-#59 in a couple of weeks. It's in Long Beach Ca. Ike

I haven't seen a 35th B-2K besides the Grand Rapids area one, but will keep my eyes open. May be on Detroit side of state, then I wouldn't hear about it real quick. There were a couple of Callaway TT's in the area, but haven't seen or heard of in a few years. One 1988 non 35th I've seen a couple of times at Berger Cheverolet for service in the 90's. Ike
