36 baro sensor low ??

Hello All,

Ok the Vette, 1994 LT-1, 5.7lt Auto tran , Started acting up a little the other day it died at a stop light but started right up & no check engine light, then today on the highway at about 65 MPH it surged but then ran fine & at this point the check engine light came on so when I came back to the house I scanned the car with my scan tool and found no current codes but it did have a history code that read 36 baro sensor low ?? I have not been able to find any info on that yet. Thanks for any help .

DTC 36 refers to the opti-spark. DTC 34 is the baro. Could you have misread the code?

Clear code see if it returns?

I cleared the codes and let the vehicle warmup and scaned it again and it read 36 baro sensor low ? and it came up under history mode again.

Try reading codes direct off the dash and see how they compare with scanner
