Thanks guys !! next will be the intake system. It would be great if the Callaway 100+ was available, as I'd rather go with it.

I've seen that orange wrap before. Nasa uses that stuff to insulate hydraulic lines in areas that are exposed to high heat. 200mph in a Callaway also warrants the use of this stuff! Where'd ya find it? I been looking all over!

Very nice job looks better then new.

Nice job Sam... looking good! I've seen that red (orange?) wrap too. It's under my hood. Callaway used it to insulate some of the wires that are exposed to header heat.

Thanks, for all the compliments guys ! Eric that orange wrap did come with my Callaway, but I've found some more of the same stuff at a local hose supply company. It comes in a hose form, but it appears that Callaway cuts it down the center then wraps the wire harness with it and then uses a stainless wire to close it back up tight around the harness.

I've also used, some of that woven fiberglass heat shielding material
(white in color) that is made in hose form that is used primarily to cover spark plug wires as well. I buy that stuff thru Summit Racing and it works very well to keep the heat out.

Another important note for those of us that have a 4+3. Callaway used nylon ties to hold the rubber fluid lines together, I noticed that both the feeder and return lines were kinked. It's important to check your hoses for this situation. The fluid is the lifeline to the overdrive, and as it is, below 40 mph the pump is not supplying sufficient pressure or volume.
