4 speed speedo drive gear

anyone know the correct (# of teeth) a 4 speed 1981 would require?

The 1979 bw 4 speed I installed in my 81 doesn't spin the 85 mph speedo at the correct speed.

It also depends if you have a normal or the options diff ratio.
The easiest way to find out (if you know how many teeth gear you have now) is to get a mobile route-planner and drive the vette at (for example) 50mph, read the speed at the route-planner. Now you know the difference and find out what the right gear should be
