405 HP emblems

I have a 2002 Z06. The fender emplems do not say "405 HP", just "Z06". Are all the 2002 Z06's supposed to have the "405 HP" fender emblems?

yes ?? did you buy used, perhaps prev owner removed them ??

The 2001 had the Z06 badging but as IMA Z06 says, all 2002 models received the extra 405 hp addition to the emblem. Were I you, I would just buy replacements. Several Vette house sell them at various prices. Here, as just one example, are West Coast Corvette's emblems:

Maybe you should check you VIN to make sure you really have a 2002, and not a 2001. You may have gotten a left over 2001 model?

I don't know why you would not have had the 405 on it!

I just don't get it! If the engine checks out maybe he has an error Z06!

Maybe they are worth more money like error baseball cards!
