I think I have the shifter levers all adjusted correctly, but it is hard to shift gears and reverse is grinding. With the shifter in netural, I started with the 3-4 lever and then adjusted the 1-2 lever. That was quite easy. But the reverse levers are giving me a pain. I used a bungee cord to hold the shifter towards the driver's side and adjusted the lever until the shifter tab would engage the reverse lever. But it seems that 1-2 lever is still moving along with reverse lever.

Anyone have a good method as to how to adjust these levers other than whats in the book?

They sell a special tool that ZIP has/had, I just looked for you but couldn't find it. It costs about $3. It lines up the linkage. It looks like a tongue depresser...

I found the tool that ZIP sells, yep $3. There is a diagram of the tool to align the shifter in the Assembly Manual, but my copy is pretty faint and I am not able to read all the dimensions. Anyone have a nice dark copy of that page, section 7B or 7C that can scan that page and send it to me??

Thanks,
