I hooked up a battery charger to the car and did not check to see that it was on 6 volts. It was instead switched to 12 volt, 6 amps. I left it connected for about 10 minutes and then tried to start the car. I think I heard a slight noise but everything was dead. No horn, lights, start. I checked the battery charger, saw what I had done and disconnected it.

What did I burn up? How much damage? It there a master fuse? Relays frozen shut? No wires burned that I could tell. No smoke, no smell.
Thanks,
Roger

Do you have another 6 volt battery handy? I did that once and found that I must have ruined the battery. I tryed another battery and everything seemed to work ok. You may want to check out your voltage regulator when you get things running and see if it is working properly. Good luck.
