I am wanting to put these wheels on my Vette, the car will have the orginal kingpin front suspension with disc brakes added... anyone done this and do you have any recommendations on wheel/tire size ?? thanks!

Can't help with the exact tire size but find something with an OD close to the stock tire or a 215/70-15. Watch the wheel back spacing closely before you buy wheels. On my 57 I'm going to have 15" (6 or 7") rim's made so up that I can run my stock full hubcaps. I have 6' "old style" Torque thrusts on my 67 and know that the back spacing that works for midyears is 3 5/8 for 6" and 4 1/8 for 7". The C1 tires are pretty close to the rear springs even with stock tires/wheels.

I have 215:65R15 redline radials with Kelsey-Hayes (54 Buick Skylark) wires - I think they're 6" wide with the factory offset - along with the stock front suspension and disc brakes. No rubbing problems at all. The wires have been on the car since at least 1963:
