61-Please tell how to not fry my gauges when bench testing.

I am ready to test the gauges on my 61: Battery, Temp, Fuel. Can I put 12 volts directly to these instruments without frying them. Any advise/cautions appreciated.

NO, if you're not sure, then don't. The service manual shows how to check them. It's not the volts that frys them, but the 600 amps.
