62 wiper motor hot wire

quick question , where does the hot wire hook up to . I have the wire off the motor , there is no fuse link , and its length only seems to reach the coil . I need to know where to hook it up Matt

I believe it connects to the battery side of the ballast resistor it seems like an odd place but I believe that is where it attaches steve

Yes it goes to the ballast resistor on the same side as the brown wire from the ignition switch. The other side has a dk green wire that goes to the coil and S terminal on the starter solonoid.
