What the latest on your are you going to be running those types of times also.

Man would I love to go on a ride like that

I dont react quick

Those Kinsler injections are good pieces. I think age just makes them better.

I like the injection system on a BBC with the different length stacks
It looks like a pipe organ that makes the sweetest sound in the world.....LOL

I had some friends that ran a Kinsler on a 301 Chevy in a front motor C/Gas rail back in the early '70s. This was before back motor cars were popular in the lower classes. It really ran strong, especially on tune up passes in the housing addition. Boyd Knolson, Champion spark plug rep at the time, lived at the end of a T street. They would push the rail around the block then fire it up about 2 blocks from the house. They'd launch it and then shut down and coast into Boyd's garage. The neighbors loved it. Different times for sure.

I'm pretty sure that they used the same engine when they went to a back motor car. The other partner in the car was Don Gerardo who later became well known in NHRA top alchol racing. Haven't seen either one in years.

Hello
I know this is getting a little off topic of Corvettes, but with Tom's last post, I could not resist
I think a few of the guys on the forum will really like this...Tom, John Z for sure.....Fuelie as well
There are a couple of C-1's in here, so it is technically corvette related
Bring your coffee and a sandwich.....there are 3 parts to this

Tom, that's fabulous! I ran regularly at Detroit Dragway in the late 50's, ran at the '60 Nationals in A/MSP, and in '61 I was running my AA/FD (at non-NHRA strips). "Ironcross" (Walt) will love it too! :D

The younger guys will wonder where the "tree" went, and what guy is doing with the flags!

Great video. Some familiar cars and names there.

Also thanks for the picture of the Kinsler unit Tyler. That would look fantastic on my '59. :D

Love the video of the '63 drag vette. I have seen that car up close and it is a real beauty.

I really enjoyed the early drag movie, it sure brings back a lot of memories. I was very hooked on drag racing in my younger days.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Take care,
Brian
