never seen anything but black tops on silver cars, but I am sure it (white top) is and has been done, cannot find any pics of such for you though. As for "original white" - how do you know the top was originally white - original order docs?

Mark, there is a silver '66 with white top in the same city as me. My silver '66 has the black top. With tops down people would often get our cars mixed up. I have had people ask who the blonde was in my car, honestly. I have been carrying a camera lately and will try to get a pic next time I see it out. Could be awhile though, the owner is going through a divorce.

From a visual perspective, the black top provides more definition to the car, the white top (my opinion) will make the silver car look rather washed out. I think the black top looks better and it much easier to clean.

I'm not sure about the top, but here is a silver vette I saw on ebay when I was looking at putting TT2s on my car. I think a black top would look good on this one.

Not sure myself. But past owner for many years said car had white top from factory. would love to see a picture to be sure if I would like this. Mark.
