A friend of mines Dad passed away
about 5 weeks ago. His Dad had bought in 2003 from Pro
Team a 1978 Pace Car and a 1964 coupe. My friend knows
I have had Corvettes for years and asked me to help
him sell them. If you would please forward to the
Corvette clubs. The Pace car is an L-82 with 4 speed.
Has about 19,000 miles. The car is loaded Pro team was
selling the car for $26,900 in 2003. The 64 is
327-300HP body off restored. This is a 3 owner car
factory side exhaust, power brakes, power steering,
match number, 4 speed, documention, very original car.
As described in Pro Teams add. The price in Pro Team
add in 2003 was $36,900. Any one intersted in either
of these cars and would like to know more about these
cars get back to me at nickg308@yahoo.com
Thanks
for your help
Nick

You may not want to advertize cars came from Pro Team it seems eather people hate them or like them. It may not be in his best intrest to advertize it that way.

As for the midyear, for sure there are more buyers in the market now,May I suggest your freind try to get them to a local show or two with signs in the windows.

If he wants the best money for them I would suggest an E-Bay auction.

PS give the guy all the help you can,When some one loses a close family member they need help but they just dont know how people can help them and so they just never ask for it.

I learned this when I lost my Father in law.

I hear ya - I would Imagine wtih the amount of publicity he has on these cars that they might have sold by now. Honestly, I've never had any dealings with Pro Team, but it seems they snatch up alot of cars and put them back on the market at slightly high prices. I just assumed they had a better finger on the pulse when it comes to resale.
haha

And yes, Its never easy when you loose a family member and have to go thru parting with their personal belongings. I imagine these cars were a very special part of his life.

Thanks for the posts
