64 Exhaust Manifold Question

I have prepared my manifolds to be sent to Jet-Hot Coatings, but have a question before shipping them out. On the left (passenger) side manifold, there is what looks like 1/4" tubing that goes through the manifold from the top to just above the outlet flange. What is this for ? There is nothing connected to it...

there should be a choke heat tube there that runs up to the carb chock connector.

Thanks for the feedback Barry. Since I am in Houston, there is not much need for a choke. I wonder if anyone has removed this tube and plugged the holes, or if I should not even worry about this...
