Could anyone tell me the proper spacing dimensions for replacing the rocker cover support/reinforcements. I have had to replace the original rockers and purchased replacement of the reinforcements but have found no dimensions in any of the manuals or books that I have. If someone could measure the placement on their car and use a body mount as a reference that would probably be sufficient as I understand that the location was not that exact when the body was assembled at the factory. Would be grateful for any help or suggestions

Thanks

Hi! Dave

I would try and mount the rocker covers using the end holes and then align the brackets with the holes in the bottom of the rockers.

When I replaced the ones on the 63 you could see where the brackets were after they were removed. The originals were spot welded. I drilled a 1/4" hole and then we plugged welded them.

Thanks for the tip but unfortunately the covers that I have have 12 holes for 6 supports and I am not sure which is the correct holes to line up to.
