I am giving serious consideration to selling the factory 65 Vette A/C equipment I have and replacing it with a Vintage Air system. I have spoke with a few people who say it is not that hard to replace, especially since I am in the resto process now. I would sell off everything, controlls, vent work & ducts, evaporator & heater with housings & blower, valves, compressor etc. The only thing you probably don't want is the condenser & drier. I have not looked for a date code on the compressor. The condensor has a 1981 date stamp on it and I am sure it is aftermarket. Everything apperas to be in good condition in that it is not rusted, dented or broken that I can see. The heater core has damge to one of the tubes. One bolt on the outside housing twisted off while removing. I am sure when I get up under the dash it will have some issues I can't see now.

I do not have a matching numbers car and will not be entering any NCRS judging events so I am not worried about being stock. My big question is, what is this worth? I have been told to put it on ebay with a reserve of $2K. I would like to get what it is worth but don't want to get crazy either. I probably won't be answering email for about a week as I am going on vacation and will check the post and email when I return.

Thanks,
Al
