how far inside the fan shroud should my fan be? my car is not cooling good. I'm having trouble with it running hot in traffic situations. I've put a stewart high flow pump on, I've had the radiator off and flushed at the rad. shop.

The design calls for the tip of the fan blade to be half-in/half-out of the edge of the shroud for maximum efficiency. What kind of radiator do you have? The original Harrison aluminum with no side tanks, or a replacement copper/brass with side tanks, and how old is it?
