One of those, "While I'm there might as well..." I replaced the instruments on my 65 and while the column is out I ordered new bearings for the steering column.

How hard are they to replace ? Just pry out the old and tap in the new ones ? Tips, tricks ?

Thanks !

Thanks DZ. I am one and the same with a different name on the boards.

It was a dumb question. I just went out and did it and took all of 5 minutes !

Thanks for the pics and instructions ! Wish it was all this easy. I get to tackle putting the cluster in tomorrow. It was really easy coming out. I made copies of the wiring diagram, etc...from the service manual. Hope it goes back in easy.

Good luck with the cluster re-install. Not too bad if you take your time. I labeled all the connectors when I installed a new dash harness. Plug and play as someone else said in a previous thread.
