66 corvette wiring help

Hey guys, new here. I'm putting a 66 corvette together for a friend who had his car in a shop for 5 1/2 years and all they did was striped it so now I'm doing it for him .paint and body I finished and now I'm wiring it. Two wires have me stumped one orange and a double black wire by the blower motor in the engine compartment. I'm guessing the orange one is for the blower? What about the double black? This is a non ac car

It's trickey

One of the blacks comes from the starter motor/bat neg tie point... that 1 black wire goes to the case ( ground ) of the blower motor and THEN goes ( via the " other " black ) to the wiper motor case...
