I have the correct distributor for my car but previous owners had replaced the point system with a a Mallory Unlight convertion kit.I have original voltage regulator and alternator and would like to utilize these parts and still keep the convertion kit.As it is know, after market alternator I believe has one wire attached from engine harness and the volt.reg. is capped.Tried locating wiring diagram and information from Mallory tech people. No luck.Is anyone familar with this type of set-up and if so, is possible to use my original volt.reg and alternator? Thanks

The Unilite module isn't affected by whether you have the original alternator/regulator system or the aftermarket 1-wire internally-regulated alternator. The key issue in terms of returning your car back to the original alternator/regulator system is whether the Bubba who changed it butchered any of the original wiring to the alternator and regulator, removed connectors, etc.
