Both of my side windows keep separating from the upper track as they go up and down. Any ideas for what adhesive (glue for the laymen) I should use? By the way, I'm just beginning the re-haul process, so if you have any places I should look for parts/advice, let me know. ;help

No adhesive was used originally - they used "glass setting tape" to secure the glass when it was pressed into the sash channel, which is available at any automotive glass shop. :)

If you're talking about the bottom of the window in it's track, you've got the right answer from JohnZ, should be able to get it from your local auto glass replacement shop. The window will have to come out of the car in order to properly install the window into the channel. You could take the window and the channel out and carry it in to the shop to save yourself some coins.

If you're talking about the window operation in the window channels (which I doubt), that's another matter.

:upthumbs

Make sure you mark the correct fore-aft position of the glass in the sash channel before you have them re-set; once properly pressed in place with glass setting tape, they're NOT going to move, and you don't want them binding in either the front or rear glass run channels. :)

Thanks

I appreciate the advice. I'll let ya know how it goes.
