I have a 69 small block. The front edge of the hood sticks up a little higher than the nose piece ahead of it. When I close the hood I can see the hood flex a little bit on the radiator support and that makes the front edge of the hood flare up a touch. The alignment looks good between the hood and the rest of the front end. Anyone know of any adjustments available? I'm not sure if it's a matter of the whole front end being low compared to the frame, or just the nose needing to be raised a little. I don't see how I can easily lower the radiator support, as it's already bolted to that lower plate with no shims in between. I see there are two brackets that go from that lower plate up to the nose piece near each side of the front license plate. I also see there are already a few shims between these brackets and that lower radiator support plate. I'm wondering if I add more shims, would it raise the nose compared to the body (i.e. give more clearance between the hood and the radiator support)? What other bolts might I need to loosen to try to raise the nose a bit? Any info is appreciated.
Thanks,
Andy
