I've been looking into getting a new upper radiator hose for my 69 BB. When I look in all the catalogs there are two listed for 69. One says for 390 and 3x2 and the other says for 69 with PS. What is the difference between the two, other than the shape. Did something change in 69 that caused the change in hose. My problem is that I have a 390 with PS so I am not sure which one to get. Also I see that one of them is available cheap and the other one is not. Can someone fill me in.

Doesn't anyone know?

I just checked the Paragon Catalog and it list for a 390/w P.S their part #2227. GM part #3947867. This is for E1969. Then it list L69 /427 ALL w/P.S. their #2183. GM#3967433. I guess you have to know if your is early or late 69. There are pictures of both so maybe you could match from them.

hey matt
I recentlyinstalled the rad hoses on my BB 390HP w/ps

if you have ps you need to go with the appropriate hose its in the bend
to go around the alt. it almost looks like a cane ther is no way around it you have to use this hose (for ps) yes they are expensice.......... but then again aren't all thnings corvette expensive......
