71 Birdcage replacment---updates!

Finally, we are turning the corner. I got to spend some quality time with this baby yesterday. Mike and I worked on the birdcage a few weeks ago. We took pieces of the 71 convertible birdcage, cut, welded, and swapped them onto the late 70s t-top replacement birdcage.

A quick trip to the powder coaters to be sand blasted and coated...and ...NO MORE RUST!!!!!!!!!!

BTW--I had this listed as a 70 before. Mike corrected me this weekend...as it is indeed a 71.
 
I am absolutely amazed at the speed in which you work. I've been following this since you started it, and I still can't fathom how you can accomplish so much in such a short period of time.

Very impressive.
