72 LT1 date codes

I have a 72 LT1 production #20854, J(Oct)09 production date on trim tag. What is the correct block date code range and eng assembly (suffix) date range?

Your body build date (J 09) is May 9th, 1972, and your car came off the line the following day, May 10th per the VIN. Engine stamp pad and block casting dates are "typically" 2-4 weeks prior to the car's final assembly date, but NCRS gives full judging credit for dated components up to six months prior.
