I am the 3rd owner, bought it in August, 1988 - VIN 1Z67J3S423444

Motor rebuilt in '90 from the bottom up - only mods are different camshaft and .030 over bore. I have all paperwork from machine shop and all receipts for parts. At same time, installed all new brake calipers and rotors, new stock exhaust, boiled and pressure checked the radiator.

In 2000, new paint (Classic White) plus new shocks (Monroe Gasmatics), front-end alignment and new tires.

12 disc Blaupunkt CD, AM/FM, and Cassette

Summer, 2005 new top and pads, weatherstrip kit, pillar posts, retainer cord and new decklid striker plates. Also, new chrome rear bumpers in Sept. '05.

Current mileage is 73,931.

This car is a rock solid driver and should not be confused with a trailer queen. It will not win a Concours event nor Bloomington Gold. However, it is mechanically sound and looks great. I've taken extremely good care of this car, always been garaged, I've done the routine maintenance - oil changes (Amsoil synthetic), filters, tire rotation and general cleaning and upkeep. Ready to be driven anywhere.

This is the first time I've considered parting with it - I want an LT4.

Additional info:
Last year for the "duck tail" and chrome rear bumpers
Production numbers - 4,943 convertibles, 25,521 coupes
No vaccuum operated windshield wiper panel in '73

Price - $17,500.00

January 04, 2006 - This vehicle has been sold.

OK - looks like this might need a jump start... anyone want to make a reasonable offer?

What is the conditon of
1 The frame
2 The radiator support
3 The body mounts
4 suspension front & rear.......any work been done?
5 interior condition? seats backs broken? good door panels?
6 fluid leaks ?
7 got jack/tire tub/spare?
Thanks

OK - here's the lowdown:

1. Frame is solid - no visible problems

2. Radiator support has some rust in the 2 lower corners only. Top and side
rails are solid... no threat of collapse.

3. Body mount bushings are all intact but showing some minor cracks,
what you would expect from a 33 year old vehicle.

4. Front and rear suspension show the same type of bushing wear but
nothing that looks like a problem. I replaced the sway bar links and
bushings in 2000 when the shocks were replaced and the paint was done.

5. Interior is overall in excellent shape. There is one small crack (2" or so) on
the driver side seat back. Passenger seat no issues. Door panels are in
great shape. Interior is black vinyl.

6. No fluid leak problems.

7. Tire tub and spare are intact - no jack.

8. This is a low option production model. It does have tilt / telescopic
steering wheel but no AC, no power steering, no power brakes. The
beauty is in the simplicity.

9. A real deal priced right at $15,500.

What phone number can I reach you at? And do you have more photo's of the car close up and the interior?
Thanks, Dale.

Dale,
Send me your e-mail address and I'll send more images along with my phone number. Thanks, Ron
