Any one have any info on a 73 Cruise control system, vacuum hoses etc. The car was originally a 4 speed changed over to a 400 turbo, not sure there is any way to make it work??!! Help

Cruise control was not option until 1977 or 1978. You can copy the cruise control set up from a Impala or Monte Carlo for your Corvette. The info needed is in the service manual and the wiring diagrams. The parts can be gotten from the local "junkyards", but will have to be tested/checked for functionality. Some items are Corvette specific and will have to be ordered from a Corvette junkyard probably. Mounting of the regulator and servo will be to your liking or you can copy the mounting positions from a late 70's or early 80's Corvette. The early cruise control units did not have the resume or acceleration features and are not very precise at holding speed on non-level surfaces.

An option would to buy a new technology cruise control system. Rostra makes several types, electronic systems, that are much easier to install and service than the old vacuum based systems. Rostra has a website so you can checkout their products.

The unit turns out to be a Perfert Circle Speedo Stat, Speed Control. Also the turn signal arm (with cruise switch) was sloppy which I fixed when I repaired the turn signal so a clue it was changed out. I still have under dash work to do so think I pull it all and put back to stock for now. Thanks

You as others have confirmed another of my worst fears, another half done modification!! What I have is a Pefect Circle Speedo Stat Speed Control, vacuum unit. The more I look at the set up I don't see room for the hard cables it requires to route to the tranny even if it is a workable unit, not sure maybe just yank it all, and start over if I decide it's worth it, thanks.
