Was looking around at mad and ecklers because I have a the Custom Autosound head unit that looks factory w/ a 10 cd changer... i cant get the cd changer to stop getting stuck when going over potholes/bumps and then it wont work... the head unit is beautiful but if it doesnt do what its suppose to ill have to sell it. Im curious what everyone else has... Also, im going to need to replace speakers (any replacement suggestions?) . Im thinking a indash cd head unit would be great... any recommendations!!!??? thanx in advance

Anyone wish to purchase the Custom AutoSound Headunit w or wo the changer? It has been installed (once) and would work if you could find a way to stop the cd changer from "jamming"/getting stuck over bumps. Its USA-5 (I can get more info and pictures if anyones interested).. lilfl9p2004@yahoo.com

They now have on the market center console gauge panels cut out to fit a CD player. this way you can hold on to the origional and not have to cut it up
They come with or with out a CD player

think it would be possible that cd changer is bad and maybe that replacing it with a new cd changer would do the trick? The bezel i have seen like that is at 250.. then a new head unit.. just trying not to blow too much $$$ out the door :)

76,
i bought a DIN bezel from Vette Specialties about 2 years ago and put in a Sony CDX-M800 head unit. For speakers, i used Infinity Kappa 462.5i 4x6 speakers in the dash. the clarity is great; however, these speakers do not have much bass in them. they are more high frequency speakers. I am overall very satisfied with them.
