76 Heater / AC Fan Speed Switch Replacemt

I'm needing some guidance on how to remove the fan speed switch for replacement. It is attached to the heater/ac control assembly on my 76. Please Help! Thanks!

It should be desperate from the HVAC selector..
Should be 2 screws attached to the underside of the center console.

I'm having trouble getting to that point of the disassembly. Does the console need to be removed?

Yes,there are a couple of screws towards the back and there are 2 on the front that are upside down
and up into the front console.Feel/look for them.they are tricky and it is very easily broken.

Thanks!!! I was able to remove and install the fan blower switch without removing the console. I have small hands.
