77 speakers.

How many speakers came stock in a 77 sound system? I currently only have 2 removeable speakers behind the seats. Noticed spots for at least 4 more speakers though. Do they not work? or are they not installed?

Im not sure but I thoght there were only two in the dash and that was it.

77 only had two in the dash. I think they went to 4 in the 78.

I'm not sure what you mean by behind the seats. If by that you mean at the back of the compartment it's possible. If they are right behind the seats then no.

There have been a lot of diagrams going around on how to make the boxes to place extra rear speakers.
