78-82 Astro Top WTB

Howdie. I am looking for a nice Astro Top for a 78-82 car. I know I can buy a new one, but if there is a guy out here wanting to get rid of one heres your chance. My mirrored t-tops were stolen a couple weeks ago mad), and I am going to just use an astro top on my 82. I'm tired of putting up with all the nonsense related to having a nice vintage car, so I also need a 12 Gauge shotgun and a few feet of string. I'll drill a little hole in the astro top, attatch the string in a couple places and ...shazam, the guy who gets my astro top wins a farm too boogie)! I would be interested in a set of mirrored tops, but I'm not paying a grand for them... I also am looking for a 82 type hood that has been stupiditized, as I am going to run my cross fire throttle bodies on an Edlebrock tr1achuckle), and don't want to mess up a decent hood. let me know. gsegarage@kc.rr.com

I wouldn't buy an Astro top. Their tops are junk. Their customer service is a joke. And Thompson the owner is a jackass.

I herd this from too many...

I just bought a pair of painted t tops and went on. I was amazed that I got so many pm's about the lack of quality and horrible customer service. I really thought they wer ethe koolist thing.

Yeah, I used to have an 81 with painted tops. Would have loved a transparent top. But I would avoid Astro Top like the Plague.
