'78 gas tank

I need a new gas tank for my corvette. No second hand!!
Is there anyone who can help?

New gas tanks don't exist for '78-'82 Corvettes. They're a different shape from older C3's, and nobody has made any replacement units. So you'll have to find the nicest used tank you can find...

Good luck Ryan.I have yet to see any place that handles new ones.Contemporary Corvettes in Bristol,PA has used ones for $350.I have thier phone no. if you want. If you do find a new one let me know for future reference. By the way the original GM part # was 457999.
