78 Pace Car Interior

I am looking at a 1978 Pace Car. It has combination silver cloth and leather seats. Was this an option on the Pace Car? I thought that they only came in silver leather. Could someone set me straight on this. Thanks

Im not for sure but I also thought they came with leather only.I learned something interesting on these cars the other day.The carpet was unique to these cars only.These cars had a thicker shag carpet that is not reproduced by anyone.If you order carpet for them you will get the cut pile carpet in the correct color but it wont be the same thickness.

I checked in The Illustrated Corvette Buyer's Guide by Michael Antonick and is says "The limited edition Pace Car Corvette came with a silver interior in either leather or cloth trimmed in leather." Hope this helps.

It definitely helps. I knew the interior of the Pace Car was similar to the 1979 model. I was not able to find out anymore. Thanks.
