Help! 78 seat recovering

I am about to install new foam and cover and have some questions.
1. How many clips are needed for the bottoms and do you put the clips on the cover first and fold it over onto the frame.
2. do you install the clips from one side of the frame to the opposite side or do you just follow the frame around.

Can't answer how many but I found it easier to fold the edge of the cover around the frame and then put the clips on.

I just did them on one side at a time.

The T-handle tool to pull the short wires thru the foam is well worth the price.

Thanks for the info. My covers arrived and I am about to get ready to cover them this week.

One other question is the hinge bolt kit came with 4 spacers for each seat my old seats did not even have 1 on each side. I think I should use the 1 on each side. Any thoughts on this?

Just looked at mine and didn't see any spacers. Are they plastic?
