'80 w/ a 305

[81 Corvette]

Its like a lost child. You hear about em, but never see em. Anyways, if anyone here has one, i'd be interested in seeing a pic of the motor.

They don't look any different than the 350. The HP was only 10 less than the the 350 of the same year. I can tell you that I would take other 305 over a 350 ant day for the gas mileage alone. I loved my 80 with the 305 and would not of given it up for anything; but a big SUV took the frontend off it one day and ended it's life forever. If I get the chance to get other one I'll take it in a heart beat.

There were 3221 of the LG4/305's and I don't see too many of them around either. I've only run across 2 others in the last 5 years, one in Modesto and one at a show in Phoenix last April. The one in Phoenix was for sale and the sign said "RARE" ... like it was an L-88 or something. I couldn't bring myself to burst his bubble !!
