Greetings all,
Can anyone point me to an on-line diagram of our emissions controls? My underhood sticker is missing and I've got to put in an EGR valve for the annual test. Even more importantly, I suspect the air pump is not blowing into the manifolds and I'm sure I need that dilution.
Thanx, Steve in Las Vegas

L81, California, Automatic...

I got this label by mistake from Corvette Central (My Fault)...

I edited posting to improve picture quality..

Gerry,
Thank you immensely. That is exactly what I needed:upthumbs May I ask what book you make reference to in the first answer? I've found the Haynes manual to be all but worthless.
Thanx, Steve

Steve,

"Straight out" of the 1981 Corvette Shop Manual.

If you find yourself looking for a hard-to-find smog equipment part, then give Bill Hodel (out of Masillion, Ohio, 330-832-0871) a call. My L81 air pump bracket broke, and Chevrolet does not carry it anymore (there is a very similar bracket that they do have, but it requires an approximately 1" diameter bushing, but they do not carry the bushing...:( ), so Bill came through for me and found me the bracket. He specializes in Corvette, Camaro, and Chevelle smog systems.
