Are the nose and gas door emblems pressure sensitive or do they bolt on?

Any good ideas on getting them off in one piece?

on my 78 the nose emblem is mounted with double sided body molding tape. there are 2 pins to center the emblem on the hood, but no speed nuts, just the tape. the gas lid emblem is bolted to the lid with acorn nuts. while i haven't changed it out yet, i plan on changing the hood emblem. i am open to suggestions as to the best method, but my idea was to leave the car in the sun for a bit, then take a hair blower and add a bit of additional heat to the emblem and try to work some dental floss behing and then through the back of the emblem to break the bond of the tape. i tried to just push the emblem off the hood from the underside, but was afraid to apply too much upward pressure for fear of damaging the body in the area of the emblem. needless to say, it didn't budge one bit.

Hair dryer is probably a good idea....a heat gun would work much better. I have to take both side emblems off my car in the next few weeks. since PA. is so darn cold right now, a heat gun will be the way to go..then move the emblem a bit from side to side...then use fishing line to get behind the emblem and slowly work it off..thats how I plan on doing it, unless someone else has a better idea....
