I'm in the process of changing out my '81 factory radio for an aftermarket head and I'm trying to figure out the wiring for the power antenna leads. My schematic shows a four conducter plug with one black (ground?), 1 gray and two yellow wires coming from the plug. It appears (both in the schematic and on the plug) that the two yellow wires bridge at the plug.
My question is..... what goes where? I'd guess the black wire goes to ground, the schematic makes me think that the yellow wire carries the voltage from the radio that triggers the antenna to go up/down..... but what's the gray wires purpose? And why are there two yellow wires bridged at the plug?
Thanks for all help,
