New Member and 1st vet (81 vert named Lizzy)

Hello all,

My name is Chris and I am sad but a proud owner of an 81 Vert :happyanim:. It was my dads (nsarvis on these forums) who we lost 16 Sept 2011. I am very new to the Vette/Car Scene previous I was a Jeep Junky :L

Details on the car: 81 Vet modded off the show room floor to be a Vert by Flint Corvette. Also has the 454 in it. It is # 30 of 35 built (81030)

I am still trying to gather information on this car as to what has been done to it.

I have not registered at the L81Registry because I would like to talk with an Admin about taking over my dads information. L81 Registry Link

:w Chris,

Sorry about the loss of your father. I remember the first car show your dad entered .. As I recall he got 2nd place for 72-89 open class :thumb

As for information transfer... I have to plead website ignorance... sorry but I don't have the skills to do anything other than approve or delete new applications. Probably the best would be to fill out a new registration with your name and info and check the same boxes for options as your dad "Noah" had marked. This will show you as the owner.

I really need to find someone that can either Teach me how to revise and make new information additions or a complete redesign... I hesitate with the redesign as I do not want to lose the DATA BASE...

I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome. This is going to be a fun adventure!

Where would be a good place to post pics of the car etc?

Chris, you can post up a photo of your car right here in this thread. :thumb

If you can assist Yoda with the 81 website, you probably know how to upload a photo in your post. If not, check out the instructional threads in this forum: Site Help & Feedback

And again, WELCOME!

Welcome to the CAC. Sorry to hear about your dad.

You probably won't get the audience you need to help you decide on a value in this forum, Chris. It's limited to introductions and saying hello. The forum you'll need to post a new thread in is here --> C3 General Discussion

That way your new thread will be viewed by the C3 crowd specifically and hopefully someone can help you in your quest.

Enjoy!
