Help! 82 Corvette issues

Car starts but idles up and down.Holding gas peddle at about 800 rpm runs for about a minute then shuts off.Hard to restart,acts like its flooded out.When it starts back up,rough run,black exhaust but clears up, runs for about a minute with foot on gas then shuts off again.Replaced fuel pump and computer.No change in conditions.

Is your Corvette still a crossfire???
Have your throttle bodies been balanced???
Have you checked any thing on your ignition system???

Have a look at the vacumn pipe up to your MAP sensor. If this has become disconnected from the manifold or is broken or split the fuel system will run very rich and the engine will cut out. Failing that try replacing the sensor. Does the ecm throw up any fault codes?
