Hey all, my fuel gauge just starting peaking out the other day..... tested the lead and ended up with over 1k ohm........ not good....... supposed to be 0-90 right? i took out the unit, tested it directly and still same thing....... now, at "empty" it reads about 10 ohms........ at full its around 2-300 ohm...... it reads ok to 60ohm then shoots up.......... does anyone have a suggestion, or say just get a new one...... if that is the case, anyone know where to get one for an 82 (feed and return lines)
Or, maybe a sending unit that would work...... i know autometer sells one, but how would i mount it in that tank since i already have this assembly?
